FREEDOM PLAYGROUND
Haverford township is soon to be the home of a brand new all
abilities playground at the Haverford Reserve.
This playground will allow able bodied and handicapped children to
all play together. The playground will be built by volunteers right
next to the new baseball fields at Haverford Reserve. It's scheduled
opening in Fall 2009.
We are having a fundraiser at Brownies 23 East on March 21st to
raise money for a Design Day. This money will allow the Architectial
Firm to go into the schools to get some great ideas from the
Havertown children that will be using the playground.
Come enjoy a night out with Friends and neighbors. We are offering
beer, wine, food and DJ for $25.00 per person. We will have
information about how to volunteer time, sponsor the park funds, or
purchase a picket fence post for your Family/ Company to donate!
We will be doing a 50/50 and giving away some great door prizes!
This is your way of helping make our Havertown a wonderful place
to live and play!
